Probably one of the most unique weddings of the year. Very small and intimate, but most importantly, LOTS OF TIME FOR PICTURES. I knew we would hit it off when they came in for a pre-wedding consultation and the conversation quickly went to the type of images they were looking for and we ended up with “I don’t know, but we want unique.” YES! This is what I do. Unique. Because we had so much time in our timeline it allowed us to drive all over and create some very unique images. We ended up bringing Kristen and Gary with us in our car and drove all over town. Everything from Forest Park to Urban Decay.
Now, I am not going to lie, I fell in love with them both when I made the suggestion of them laying in the grass for a shot and that they might get a little dirty. To which, they both looked at one another and nodded in agreement. “Not a problem,” they said. This led to the incredible overhead shot you see below with them laying under the trees. (One of my favorites from the entire year!)
Kristen and Gary have become personal friends. They are quirky, odd, weird, funny and love to eat. Kinda like us. Is it your 5 year anniversary yet? We have some pictures to plan for!
