Tell us how you first met? who what when where why? give us the dirty details.
Shannon and I had seen each other a few times before, mainly out on the river or at certain functions where we were with fellow acquaintances. Actually, to be completely honest, Shannon was one of the guys that ran around with my brother and his group of friends. It wasn’t until I was home from college on a family visit, that Shannon and I really connected. I always had a bit of a crush on him and vice versa obviously!
When did you know he/she was the one? Was there something he/she did?, etc.
From the very beginning! We were head over heals and knew from the start that we were meant to be together.
Tell us about the proposal. (Did you see it coming, how long was it in the planning?, how did you feel? nervous, excited, freaking out?)
Shannon said he had thought of all kinds of scenarios to purpose, but once Shannon received my parents blessing he simply could not wait. He rushed home, got down on one knee and asked for my hand in marriage. There was excitement, love, laughter and tears. It was a very special moment, one that we have both wanted for quite some time.
Tell is the one thing you love most about each other.
We are each other’s best friend! Our relationship is filled with love and laughter. He can bring a smile to my face even at the worst of times.
