Tell us how you first met? who what when where why? give us the dirty details.

Brad: Initially, we met in a Virology class at SIUE. After I graduated I ran back into Alli at Mardi Gras and then we started dating. I was with my best man Clint on a cold February day. We were wandering around Soulard when I turned around and saw Alli. We exchanged numbers and the rest is history.

Alli: That pretty much sums it up. We had mutual friends in college but we were never really in the same place at the same time. Then in the last place you ever imagine meeting someone I turned around and Brad was just standing behind me. I whispered to my friend, “I think I know that guy.” He asked for my number and we started dating a few weeks later!

When did you know he/she was the one? Was there something he/she did?, etc.

Brad: I knew Alli was the one within a few weeks of dating. She was so caring and understanding…and cute! After we moved to Houston, I didn’t want to go another day without her knowing I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her.

Alli: I can’t remember a lighting bolt moment where I knew Brad was the one. I just knew from very early on that I didn’t want to imagine my life with out him.

Tell us about the proposal. (Did you see it coming, how long was it in the planning?, how did you feel? nervous, excited, freaking out?)

Brad: We had looked at rings and I knew her top 3 so I ordered it and planned everything in about a week. I was really excited! She’s such a special girl so I decided to go all out with a Ferrari and a Helicopter.

Alli: I had an inkling that something might be up. I had gone home for a weekend to visit some of my friends and family. While I was there Brad started texting me hinting that he wanted to go to dinner and borrow a friends Ferrari. He’s always been a car enthusiast so at first I didn’t think anything of it. It wasn’t until I was at work telling my co-worker about about our weekend plans when she goes, “You know he’s going to propose, right?” From then on I became a little more suspicious. Brad will tell you I’m a very curious person so it takes a lot to surprise me. Once we got into the Ferrari on our way to dinner, he tells me that he has to make a stop at a clients house before dinner. When we pull up to the clients house, he has a Helicopter in his backyard running. Brad played it off very cool by saying, “Oh WOW! He has his Helicopter out!” Due to his reaction, I didn’t think the Helicopter was part of the plan….I’m still thinking we are out of here in 5 minutes and heading to dinner. Well I was way off base…within 5 minutes we were in the Helicopter flying around the Houston skyline. Brad had placed a large banner on top of a building that said, “Will You Marry Me?” It took me about 45 seconds to realize that we were the only flying object in the sky and that the banner was meant for me! I was so shocked, in no way did I anticipate any proposal like that!

Tell is the one thing you love most about each other.

Brad: She’s so damn cute!

Alli: One thing….it’s hard to choose one thing. Brad has so many great qualities. He’s my best friend, I love that we can do nothing and still have fun together.

Share with us something silly or quirky the other person does.

Brad: When she’s sleepy, she’ll rub the cartilage on her ear. 🙂

Alli: He likes to make up little songs about things that make him happy. 🙂

Besides getting married – whats the one thing you are looking forward to on your wedding day?

Brad: Seeing everyone that I haven’t seen in such a long time & dancing!

Alli: I’m just excited for the day. I love Saint Louis, so I’m excited to be back and see friends and family. I can’t wait to see all the planning finally come together!
