holy cow… there are so many ways to follow us and too many to keep up to date… sometimes i feel like more of a web developer than i do a photographer. so we are trying something new in order to keep everything in sync at all times… so no matter how you follow us.. you will always get current information, but most importantly, lots of cool pictures to look at… after all, isnt that what its all about?

today we are in boston shooting video and pics for an adorable couple with a very cool story to tell… so check back later tonight and hopefully, we will have some teaser pics to see.

Wedding | St John

by admin on Feb.09, 2010, under weddings

Location | St John
Couple | Tim & Lauren
Date | February 16th, 2010

Well I am getting ready to head off to St John for Tim and Lauren’s wedding. I know what you are thinking… man that sucks, you have to leave the snow and cold and head to a warmer climate. Trust me, this is no easy assignment. There will be hot sand, lots of blue water… I mean, anything can go wrong. :)

However, it’s not all fun and games, I will be traveling on Valentine’s Day without my wife… so, I have a special trip planned for us when I get back. Be sure to check back next week, I will try my best to post some pics while I am down there.

Just wanted to let everyone know that Sal has been asked to participate at this years luxe wedding event at the Randall Gallery. It will be hosted by James Tramondo from the TLC show “Whose Wedding is it anyway?” The event is one of the first of its kind in St Louis. The goal is to educate brides on key topic areas for their day. The vendors will be available for Q&A – no booths, no selling. Its all about the bride and groom! Below is the invite. Sal will be speaking on the topic of photography and the top things to consider when selecting a photographer for your big day. Look forward to seeing you there.

martin delivery room session

by admin on Jan.16, 2010, under babies

WOW!! I know people talk about the miracle of life, but let’s talk about the miracle of being part of this. Nick and Jayme asked me to be part of an extremely private and emotional part of their lives when they invited me to document the birth of little Kate. It was a long day, but man was it amazing to be part of it.

The day started about 1pm for me when we got the call that Jayme was going into labor. We headed to the hospital and waited… and waited… and waited. :) Turns out Kate was a little sideways and couldn’t quite find her way out. Just after 8pm, things started going when Jayme went from 4cm to 10cm in less than 20min. From there, it was game on and everyone just took their places.

Little Katheryn Nicole Martin was born at 9:01pm @ 20in & 6lbs 10oz

Please enjoy the pictures and thank you so much for letting us be part of this amazing moment.

Sal

we are literally on our way to shoot some of our long time clients. Nick and Jayme and of course little Liam. They are about to give birth to Kate, their second child, and we have been fortunate enough to be asked to document the delivery. I know what you might be thinking… but this isn’t going to be a National Geographic type of thing. ;)

we will be documenting the raw emotion and some of little Kate’s first moments in this world. Be sure to check back for pictures. I hope to have them posted later tonight.

we are very excited!!

what a fun and loving family! the day was filled with special moments… lots of laughs and even a few tears of joy. and talk about timing… what a difference a week makes. we had two weddings at the WFP and within one week there was a 20+ degree temperature difference. gotta love st louis. :) for this evening the weather was just perfect! hats off to jackie – she did a great job with the flowers and decor – really set the mood for the entire event!
